[DATA OUTDATED…]
FOUR/SIX-C is an initiative by Sal Industries which stores people’s consciousness in a prism. They promise to bring the person back to life again once the technology to do so is fully built. The status of this project is currently unknown. Rumors suggest Sal is in search of the ‘key of creation’; which most believe to be just a myth.
HISTORY
Sal sought the power of creation, wanting to change the world and advance evolution. Unknowingly, he **ᶦⁿᶠᵒʳᵐᵃᵗᶦᵒⁿ ʳᵉᵈᵃᶜᵗᵉᵈ** but Sal having figured out how to store consciousness, saved multiple copies of Eve before she died. Despite his many attempts, he has not yet been able to create a suitable body for Eve and revive her.
PRESENT
Sal lives in isolation, obsessed with trying to bring back Eve. He is now down to his very last attempt and fears losing her forever. Filled with overwhelm, he struggles with his thoughts alone and has even run out of food. Will he be able to battle his inner demons and resolve what’s in his heart to move on from his selfish desire? …or will it get the better of him?
The world of FOUR/SIX-C is a desolate empty world. Completely void of any life. The city is made up of tall glass buildings and neon holograms that break the lifelessness of the buildings. The outer world is a complete contrast to the rooms of Sal’s home, they are dimly lit and cluttered. Both places are contrasting yet complement Sal’s personality in one way or the other.
Instead of a linear story approach we decided to create “dots” in the story. Dots provoke questions and create intrigue. We slowly connect these dots so things start to make sense and the audience feels smart, at the same time creating some more “dots”.
All of this is then resolved in the last sequence of the movie which is dialogue heavy. What this also does is, it lets everyone have their own interpretation of the movie which is right in their own way.
